"To The Light" was recorded over two nights in April 2023 at my dining room table, straight to tape using a Tascam 414 cassette recorder. On the first night, I recorded the main performance of each song, one mic, one track. The second night, I produced around those performances with the remaining three tracks. The limitations of the tape kept me in the moment and hopefully kept me honest.

This is easily the most personal collection of songs I have ever released. These songs are about loss, grief, family, and, ultimately, hope that there is some light to be found through all of it.
